Lot 81- Elgin & Hampden 16 Size Pocket Watch Movements

This lot contains a nice pair of Elgin and Hampden 16 size open face and hunting pocket watch movements. Both have good hands, good functional dials and good movements with good balance wheels, balance staffs and hairsprings. Both movements were found carefully stored away in a watchmaker's movement cabinet. However, since both of these movements have been stored away for many years, the running of either movement will not be guaranteed. These are good movements for the collector, dealer, and repair person. Just the use of a movement or a part from one of these movements like a screw, wheel, winding part, setting part, jewel or balance wheel can save a future repair.
