Lot 72- Elgin YGF 6 Size Hunting Pocket Watch

This is a clean, complete and ticking yellow gold-filled 6 size Elgin hunting pocket watch.  This watch has a good glass crystal, good bezel, good bold, stem, sleeve, crown, dust cover, back cover and front cover. The dust cover and back cover snap closed tightly and the front cover opens and closes tightly. The lift and lock springs are strong. The watch has blued mismatched hands, a genuine factory signed enamel dial and a 15 jewel Elgin nickel movement. Since this watch has been stored away for over 40 years in a watchmaker's safe, the running movement will not be guaranteed. This 6 size movement is a grade 121 and is circa 1893. This is a nice stem wind and stem set yellow hunting Elgin watch for the collector, dealer and repair person.
