Lot 1- Wittnauer Military 8-Day Aircraft Clock

This lot contains a black cased Wittnauer Military 8-DayAircraft Clock. This clock does not run. It has two sets of hands. The clock case is approximately 2 3/8 inches by an inch and 1/4 deep. The clock does wind and set but does not make 24 hours. The clock was not disassembled to troubleshoot. The balance wheel, balance staff and hairspring appear to be good. The clock will be sold as not running. This is a very interesting and unusual sign for the serious military aircraft clock collector.
