Lot 63- Hampden 18 Size 15 Jewel Pocket Watch Movement

This lot contains a Hampden 18 size open face, early Springfield MA 15 jewel pocket watch movement. This movement has fancy pierced blued hands, a genuine factory enamel double sunk dial with bold black Roman hour numerals and red 5-minute markers. The outside of the dial around the six seven and eight minute markers has imperfections and slight chips. The dial does have a few hairlines. These will clean up in the watchmaker’s ultrasonic cleaning tank. However, the dial is still very functional. The movement is stem wind and lever set. The movement winds, sets and ticks with brisk motion. The movement has very nice, blued screws and both its D shaped blued case screws. Since this movement has been stored away in the watchmakers cabinet for many years we will not guarantee the running of the movement. This is a wonderful movement for the Hampden Watch Co. collector, dealer, or repair person.
