This is a good 17 jewel nickel model 916 open face movement. It is a clean, ticking open face pocket watch movement. This movement winds, sets and does tick with brisk motion. However, the movement has NO whiplash regulator. The balance staff, balance wheel and hair spring are in good condition. This is a nice spare movement that is ready for your case. The movement was NOT tested for timing accuracy. Therefore, it will be sold as not running and strictly for the vast wealth of parts it contains or for repair.
