Lot 115- Watchmaker’s Boxed Set of Bench Tools

This is a watchmaker’s boxed set of bench tools. We see a nice, boxed number 518 set of seven screw under cutters. This tool is used to remove metal from the underside of screw heads during the poisoning process. We see a very small watchmakers balance staff micrometer. We see a boxed hand caliper and an important boxed tool specifically made to bend spring bars for certain types of vintage mechanical wristwatch cases. Although used, these are all good quality and functional tools for the serious watch repair person. Remember early vintage watchmakers’ tools are far better quality than any tool made today.
