Lot 85- Benrus Men’s 17 Jewel Vintage Mechanical Wristwatch

This is a nice but non-running Benrus Men’s 17 Jewel Vintage Mechanical Wristwatch. This watch has a clean faceted crystal, good hands, genuine factory signed metal dial, good stem, crown and good 17 jewel movement with good balance wheel and balance staff. However, this watch does not run. The balance does swing freely but stops quickly. This watch was found stored away for over 40 years in the watchmaker safe. The watch has an aftermarket yellow gold-filled early expansion band. The watch has a very nice, clean fancy “STEPPED” style case that is 27.3 millimeters by 28 millimeters, 38 millimeters from lug to lug and the lug ID of 16 millimeters. This watch will be sold as not running.
