This is a Waltham 18 Size Model 1857 Key Wind and Set 7 Jewel Pocket Watch Movement. This movement has good, gold spade and poker hands, a good, blued sub second hand, a functional enamel single sunk dial and 7 jewel gilt model 1857 ticking movement. The movement is signed “AM. WATCH CO.”. This is a nice, clean and complete 18 size model 1857. Since this movement has been stored away for many years in the watchmakers movement cabinet, the running of the movement will not be guaranteed. We are finding fewer, and fewer key wind and key set complete model 1857 movements so do not miss it. This is an early key wind and key set movement with the solid rim balance wheel.
